Painting a wall mural can be a challenge. The planning process can seem daunting as well, and it might take more time to plan than it takes to do the actual painting. If you take it step by step and don’t rush it, you can paint a lovely wall mural that will last. Step 1 Find a section of wall you can paint on and measure it. Write down the measurements. Make a scale representation of the wall on a sheet of paper, scaling every one foot of the wall down to one inch on your paper.
