How Do You Prepare A Metal Surface For Decoupage?
Decoupage is the art of applying and sealing paper cutouts on almost any surface. You can use decoupage to decorate anything from picture frames and lamps to furniture and trays. Wash galvanized metals with vinegar. Sand the surface lightly. Wash with alcohol. Apply metal primer. Allow the metal to dry overnight. Apply paint before you apply cutouts.
