How Do You Preload A Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture High Definition Audio Bus Driver?
Windows computers use an audio architecture high-definition audio bus driver. The function of this driver is to give the sound card the ability to detect and play high-definition audio obtained either from the Internet or a connected HD audio source (such as an HDTV or Blu-ray player). However, before it is possible to play the audio you must pre-load the driver onto the computer. Open your Internet browser and navigate to the Microsoft download page for the HD bus driver (see Resources). Check off the operating system you are running, then fill in your email address, type in the passcode provided on the page and select “Request Hotfix.” Navigate to your email address and open the message received from Microsoft. Select the download link and the high-definition audio bus driver downloads directly, and automatically, to your computer. Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installation wizard. Follow the short series of prompts to complete the driver installation.
