How Do You Pray The Joyful Mysteries Of The Rosary?
We gain a glimpse into the life of the Holy Family as we pray the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. We see they had the same joys and sorrows that we have in our own families. By praying these mysteries, we can understand how to make our way in this difficult world. These Holy Mysteries are to be said on Mondays and Saturdays throughout the year and on Sundays during the Lenten and Christmas seasons. Picture a simple peasant girl sitting in her garden as you reflect on the first Joyful Mystery, “The Annunciation.” An Angel appears and tells her she is to become the mother of God. What a joyous occasion! Think about what the second Joyful Mystery, “The Visitation,” is saying to us. Mary has just found out she is pregnant with the Son of God, and she is not even married yet.
