How Do You Practice Air Kung Fu?
• Get a hing or light body in Chinese. It is the official weapon used by Air Kung Fu masters, and is composed of two pieces: the short, which is short, and the long, which is medium. The long is hollow and the short is hard and full. They piece together with about two inches of the short sticking out of the hollow long. If you are a child, your hing should be about 2 and a half feet long, the short being the length of a drumstick. If you are a man/woman practitioner, your hing should be three and three quarter feet long. • Practice on a cold day. Cold air fuels Air Kung Fu. Practice on a basketball court or something similar. • Make sweeping movements with your hing, designed to damage your opponent’s vital points. Then try sweeping the hing from side to side so fast the air hisses as an exercise. • Try more complex movements, such as leaping to the ground and sweeping your hing. Other exercises include throwing your hing in a sweep. You should throw it about twenty metres. • Challenge
