How Do You Potty Train British Bulldogs?
The British bulldog, or “bully” as he is affectionately known, can be stubborn, and you must train him carefully and patiently to ensure proper potty training. Your training should begin as early as possible with a routine that will become second nature to your puppy within 10 to 12 weeks. Take your puppy outside within 10 to 20 minutes after feeding. This will encourage his system to adjust to a potty time routine. Take your puppy outside immediately when he becomes listless or starts to circle. His system may be adjusting to a different evacuation time after eating than what you intended. He may also have swallowed something disagreeable or his digestive system may generally be out of kilter. Use the same door consistently to take your dog outside.
