Follow these steps to pop a dent out of your car with just a couple common household items. Step 1 First you will need to decide whether the dent is capable of being popped out. If the dent has a crease in it, the only way to remove it is by taking it to a body shop. If the dent is smaller than a 3 or four inches, this process will not work. If the dent looks like it can be popped out by simply pushing on the back of the dent, then proceed to step 2. Step 2 Heat up the dented area with a hair dryer.
