How Do You Polish A Chrome Bumper?
Polishing your chrome can make it stand out and look great. Chrome bumpers are particularly hard to keep clean because they are so close to the road. Washing the car regularly helps, but to make the chrome truly sparkle, you need to apply a high quality chrome polish to the bumpers and other chrome accents on your car, truck, or SUV. If you have never used chrome polish and are not sure what to buy, visit your local auto parts store and speak to an associate there for advice. Wash the entire vehicle including all the chrome with soap and water. Use a soft sponge or cloth when washing so that you do not scratch any of the chrome or painted surfaces. Allow the vehicle to completely dry before applying any polish. If you are waxing the car, do not apply wax to the chrome or the polish will not be effective. Inspect the chrome finish for any signs of flaking or rust before polishing. You can not polish rust away, and if the chrome is flaking off, it will need to be stripped and re-plated t
