Once you have mastered major and minor scales on the guitar as well as some simple tunes, it is time to try an intermediate level song. Play this chord by strumming the top five strings and pressing the third fret on the B string and the fourth fret on the D string. Play a 4 minor 7 chord next. Play this by strumming the top five strings. Press down the third fret of the G string, the third of the D string, and the third of the A string. Go back to a minor 7 chord. This is played for four measures again, in the same manner as before. Move on to a G7 chord. A G7 chord is played with all of the strings.
