If you want to, you can ask them to label the package ‘adult’ or ‘child’ describing which age group it is appropriate for. • At the party count the number of people wanting to play and number pieces of paper up to that number. Have everyone pick a piece of numbered paper. This is the order that people will pick presents. • Number 1 picks his/her present and unwraps it. He keeps his present for now. • Number 2 picks. After he unwraps it he may trade with any other person in the room (at this point, there is only 1 person to trade with) or may keep it. • Go through every person in the room, in the order of their #s. At their turn, each person may trade presents with anyone in the room once but each present may only be passed 3 times (once when the present is picked and then twice if it is traded twice).
