How Do You Play The Card Game Oh Hell?

0

Oh Hell is a fairly simple card game but it has a number of surprising outcomes that make it really fun. It is a great game for family or friends and it is not played for money. The game is played with the normal deck of 52 cards (jokers removed). Ace is high. Each player plays for himself. The object is to get the highest score at the end of the game. A game consists of 13 deals with four players, but from three to seven players can be accommodated. For three players there are 15 deals, five players 10 deals, six players eight deals and seven deals with seven players. There is a trump suit in each deal except the last deal, which is played with no trump. In the first deal each player gets one card, in the second deal each gets two cards, in the third deal three cards, and so on. A dealer is selected, shuffles, and deals one card clockwise to each player, turning over the next card to determine the trump suit. The rest of the pack is put aside and not used for that deal.
