How Do You Play Quidditch?
Learn how to play Quidditch and amaze your friends with your wicked flying abilities! There are four balls: the big, red Quaffle, the two Bludgers, and the Golden Snitch. There are seven players on each team: three Chasers, two Beaters, a Keeper, and a Seeker. There are two teams to a Quidditch match. Obviously. The three Chasers throw the Quaffle to each other and try to get it through the other teams’ three goalposts to score. The Keeper guards the three goalposts. A Bludger is a big, black ball that whizzes around the Quidditch pitch and tries to unseat as many players as possible. There are two Bludgers per team. The two Beaters carry big, heavy bats, not unlike the ones Muggles (non-magical people) use to play baseball, and whack the Bludgers away from their own team and (if they can) towards the opposing team.
