How Do You Play “Guitar Hero” On The PC?
The “Guitar Hero” series of games are a hugely popular group of rhythm-action games played with a plastic guitar-shaped controller. Players use the guitar to strum notes and finger the frets as they would a real instrument, playing along with increasingly difficult guitar-based rock songs. Several of the games, such as “Guitar Hero: Aerosmith” and “Guitar Hero: Monsters of Rock,” are available for Windows-based PC computers. Getting started on them is easy. Insert the game disc for your “Guitar Hero” game into the DVD drive of your computer. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the game to your hard drive. Plug the X-plorer guitar controller into your computer via USB. The controller is a high-speed device that will work best if plugged directly into the computer tower, not the hub, or an auxiliary port on the keyboard, monitor, etc. Launch your “Guitar Hero” game from the desktop or via the Start Menu’s “Activision” folder.
