How Do You Play Fun Games At A Baby Shower?
Baby showers don’t have to be just a quiet afternoon of watching your friend open present after present. Spice it up for the guests as well as the mother-to-be with these simple party games. Have each guest cut a piece of string to the length he or she thinks will fit around the expectant mother’s expanding waist. One by one, place it around her belly. The person with the string that comes closest to matching wins. Take the labels off eight jars of baby food. Tape a number on each jar. Hand out plastic spoons and have each guest sample each flavor and guess its identity. The person with the most matches wins. Copy a list with the names of 15 animals and ask guests to guess the word for the offspring: A joey is a baby kangaroo, infant swans are cygnets and so on. Tape the name of a famous mother on each guest’s back: Mother Nature, Mother Goose and Carol Brady are good choices.
