How Do You Play Floorball?
If you want to play a fast-paced game that is growing in popularity throughout the world, then try floorball. Originating in Sweden in the late 1970s, the game developed during the 1980s and gained popularity throughout the 1990s and into the new millennium. If you enjoy hockey and rugby, chances are you’ll love to play floorball. Be prepared for an exciting game. Assemble 2 teams of 5 players each, with 1 player on each team being a goalkeeper and up to 15 players on each team as substitutes. Play in a court similar to, but smaller than, an ice hockey arena. Equip each player except the goalkeeper with a curved plastic stick 1 meter in length, similar to a hockey stick. Place a goalkeeper in front of each netted goal at either end of the court.
