Adding custom songs to your PC copy of Guitar Hero III is an easy, but time consuming, process. You will need to download a couple of programs to help add songs to the Guitar Hero III playlist, including Song List Editor and Chart2Mid2Chart. You will also need what is called a “chart file” of the song you want to add to your game. These are used to show the frets you need to press while playing the game and can be downloaded from the Chart Library from the Score Hero website. Download the Song List Editor Program and install it on your computer. Open the program by selecting it from the Programs sub-menu on your Start menu.
