How Do You Play Caylus Magna Carta?
Caylus Magna Carta is a simplified version of the award-winning board game Caylus. Players gather resources and build buildings in an attempt to secure the most victory points. The game can be played with two, three or four players, and is much faster and easier to learn than Caylus. Arrange the blue building cards at the top of the playing area. Below them, place the order card and the castle card. Below those two cards, place the pink peddler card. Shuffle the other pink cards face down, and then flip over one for each player beyond the first in your game (e.g., 3 for a 4-player game), and arrange them in a line to the left of the peddler card. Place the provost (small white disc) on the peddler space. Give each player two wood cubes, two pink food cubes, four denier coins, and one full color set of pieces and cards. Shuffle your deck of cards and draw three. Give the starting player card to a random player. You are now ready to start the game. Begin the round by taking two denier co
