The dwarf fig tree offers both delicious fruit and the convenience of planting it in either a container or outdoors according to your temperature zone. If cared for properly, this tree will give you two harvests per year of delectable fruit and is quick to produce, usually within two to four years after planting. These trees require minimal maintenance and are self-fertile but produce even more abundantly when two are planted next to each other.
