How do you plan to phase in the ISO 15022 messages, functionality, and best market practices?
Citibank Global Securities Services has implemented the global standard as defined by the SWIFT Standard Department SR2001 and rolled out the ISO 15022 messages in November 2001. Please refer to question 5 above for the types of message implemented. For the November 2001 implementation, Citibank has also adopted Best Market Practices recommended by Securities Market Practice Group (SMPG) published as of January 2001 and we continue to incorporate additional 2001 SMPG recommendations. We are working with global SMPG groups, for example, REPO, Securities Lending, Registration, and Corporate Actions, to define recommendations for these functions. Citibank will implement such recommendations, once published, accordingly. Please also refer to the Features and Functions section on the web site for Citibank development efforts.
