How Do You Plan Fun Family Reunion Activities?
Our family has a four day family reunion vacation every three years. It is something we have been doing for almost twenty-five years. We might have anywhere from thirty to fifty attending, and each year we try new activities. Here are a few that we’ve enjoyed, and if you are planning a family reunion, they might be something you’d like to incorporate into yours. Arrange a square dance. One year family members arranged to have several square dancing instructors hold a square dance for our reunion members. All ages enjoyed the dance, even the teenagers. There was music, and the instructors walked us through the various steps. I recall much laughter that night. Play old Fashioned games. Arrange for those old time sack races, three legged races, and all those corny and fun relay games popular at the home town country fair. Have some participation ribbons printed up ahead of time, which will provide a memorable embellishment for the family reunion scrapbook. Have a family talent Show. Sched
