Cancer survivors go through ordeals on a daily basis that those who have not been affected by the disease can only imagine. They are heroes and should be celebrated for fighting for life. Use these steps to create a cancer survivor event that they will never forget. Get a committee together. Choose people with varied skills, talents and community connections. Call everyone together for a meeting to decide the type of event and the organization(s) to be involved. Contact the chosen organization to invite a national or regional representative to be involved in the event. This person can get you any national or regional materials or information you need.
