Trips to the grocery store are usually pretty mundane, but there are a few things that you can do to make them more exciting. A supermarket scavenger hunt is a fun way to get the whole family involved in the shopping and make the chore go much quicker. You can give each person a list and send everyone down the aisles in search of treasure. Create a grocery list of about two dozen items that you want help searching for. Try to pick items that come from different areas of the store and throw in a few items that may be difficult to find. Specialty items and ethnic foods are a good choice for older children and adults.
