How Do You Plan A Hiking Trip To Bridal Veil Falls, Utah?

0

Located in the southern end of Provo Canyon, Utah’s Bridal Veil Falls has many hiking trails. Although parts of Bridal Veil were damaged in a 1996 avalanche, it is still breathtakingly beautiful and well worth a visit. Lace up your hiking boots and head to Bridal Veil for a day full of adventure. Access Bridal Veil Falls by driving through Provo Canyon on U.S. Highway 189. Download a map from an online source located below. Exit the highway following the signs to Bridal Veil. You will see the falls if you miss the signs. Park in the parking lot at the base of the falls. Hike to the base of the falls. Be careful once you reach the base as the rocks will be wet and slippery. Follow some of the other trails for more adventure. Stay on the marked trails and do not venture off into unmarked territory. Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt even in the summer months. Know that the temperature in the canyon can be much lower than the temperature in the city. Pack plenty of water. Drink frequently
