How Do You Plan A Co-Ed Baby Or Wedding Shower?
Gone are the days of the ladies only baby and wedding showers. It is becoming more and more common for the guys to be involved as well. After all, they’re involved in the big day too. I’ll give you some tips for planning a co-ed baby or wedding shower. Invitations will set the tone of the shower. You won’t want to do anything to frilly or dainty as most guys will say, “No, thanks!” Make it clear that this is a guy’s day too and no, you won’t make them do any silly or embarrassing shower games. Unless they want to that is. Get the groom or dad-to-be’s input on the shower. It’s their day too and they might have some ideas. Make it a party atmosphere rather than the traditional sit at a table and watch the bride or mom-to-be open gifts. Encourage everyone to mingle and have fun. You do however want to have some fun games and activities to get everyone involved. Guys aren’t going to go for the “identify the baby food in the diaper game” or “toilet paper bride”.
