How do you place Vicco Laboratories vis-a-vis other companies, especially multinationals in healthcare market in India?
Being a pioneer in herbal medicines, we have been on a very strong wicket, despite odds. I do not measure the strength of a company in terms of its sales or profit only. Customer loyalty, product quality and culture of confidence are essential for sustainable growth. VL has all these in ample measure. Its widening customer base is proof enough. Our products are at least 40 per cent more expensive than those of our rivals. Yet our customer base has been growing. This is because our endeavour is to win and retain customers by giving them the worth of money. That is why quality and not price matters for us.
