How Do You Pitch With Hybrid Golf Clubs?
When you are around the green, the pressure to hit crisp chip and pitch shots is essential to lower your scores. But if you often scull the ball or hit it fat trying to force the clubface into position, use a hybrid golf club and play the ball like a putt. Section off the distance between the hole and your ball into quarters. With the hybrid pitch shot, your ball will travel one quarter of the distance to the hole and roll the remaining three quarters. If the ball can travel the first quarter of the distance and land on the green or on the fringe before rolling to the hole, the hybrid is the proper club.
