So you want to make sure you pick a beat that can move people. If I have a tip for any rapper trying to come up, don’t just pick any beat because some say “I want to rap over this beat” and you are going to end up selling yourself short of the glory of what you’re trying to get to. Your lyrics won’t even get recognized because the beat is so wack. But at the same time, listen to this, you want to make sure you make the beat and the beat don’t make you.
