How Do You Pick A Karaoke Song?
Karaoke is something you either love or you hate. Many people who do love it are actually too afraid to get up on stage and just go for it. Once you have made that choice to go for it (and possibly make a fool of yourself in the process) the next step is to pick a song, but this isn’t always easy. Here are the basics to get any karaoke virgin through his or her first time Take a look at what the KJ (karaoke DJ) has to offer. Usually they have their songs listed in big books or binders through out the bar. Make sure you at least skim through for your favorite artists. See what songs he has for each of those artists, and pick a couple contenders. Yes you only plan on singing once, but karaoke is like a drug. You can’t just do it once. Unless the KJ has said he/she has more songs than are in the book, do not ask if they have a song. If it isn’t in the book, just go with the idea that they do not have it. Know your range.
