How Do You Photoshop Backgrounds In Portraits?

0

Wrangling a group of people or even just one wayward child for a portrait can be hard work, but once you’ve captured that perfect picture, reusing the main subject image with different backgrounds takes just a few minutes. Open the portrait in a graphics software program such as Adobe Photoshop, offering the tools to change or edit backgrounds in a couple of clicks. Slightly tweak the shading or turn day into night, transforming the portrait entirely, in Photoshop. Open Photoshop, click the “File” menu and select “Open.” Browse to the portrait file with the background to change and double-click the file name. The picture opens in the Photoshop workspace. Pull down the “View” menu and select “Fit on Screen” so the entire background is visible. Click the “Lasso” tool on the “Tools” pane on the left side of the screen. Draw an outline around the foreground/portrait subjects. When blinking dotted lines appear, right-click inside them and select “Layer via Copy.” Pull down the “Window” menu
