How Do You Personalize A Spiral Notebook?
A good way to get your children in the mood to go back to school is to let them decorate their new spiral notebooks. You can also use decorated notebooks to personalize a gift for friends. Either way, you’ll just have fun being creative with these inexpensive materials. First remove the spiral binding from the notebook. Use pliers to bend the top spiral straight out, then twist to remove. Keep the inside paper neatly stacked to the side while you work on the covers. Use double-stick tape to attach the construction paper to the notebook cover. Trim the excess paper from around the edges of the cover. Use a pointed object, such as a sharpened pencil, to poke small holes through the paper where the original holes in the cover are so that it will be easier to get the spiral back on the notebook. Replace the spiral by twisting it back on the notebook from the bottom. Use pliers to bend the end of the spiral back into the shape it was so that it won’t slide off. Decorate by tying a few ribbo
