How Do You Perform Levitating Card Tricks?
Card tricks are easy to learn and perform, but you must continually progress with the art. Once you have mastered the basic sleight of hand for levitating cards, called the double lift, let your audience watch every move your hands make. They will see the cards levitate without seeing how you do it. Hold the deck in your left hand while you lightly hold the top edge of the deck with your right fingers. The thumb of your right hand rests on the bottom left corner. Tilt the deck so that the cards underneath your thumb are visible. Lift the edges of the top cards with your right thumb, so that all but the 2 top cards fall back into the deck. Press your right thumb onto the top 2 cards in a forward motion so that you can easily lift the cards from the rest of the deck with your right fingers and thumb.
