Use these simple stretching exercises to help relieve back pain. As always, consult a doctor prior to beginning any treatment plan. Lie down, flat on your back. Relax. Take two long, deep breaths. Pull your right knee up and towards your chest. Keep your left leg straight and flat on the ground. Hold your right knee to your chest for three seconds. Release your right knee and let it fall back down flat. Repeat this exercise three times. Now switch legs. While remaining flat on your back, pull both of your knees up. Your feet should be twelve inches from your bottom. Drop both of your knees to the left side and hold this position for three seconds. Repeat this action three times. Now switch to the other side. Get on your hands and knees and keep your back flat. Push up slowly into your chest. This will make a reverse arch in your spine. Hold this position for three seconds and release. Repeat this position one more time.
