How Do You Perform A Wrestling Leg Hook Cast-Over?
A leg hook cast-over is a two-part intermediate wrestling move that allows a wrestler to extract himself from a body lock by weakening his opponent’s stance and legs. Always remember to perform or practice wrestling moves using appropriate padding on a gymnastic mat or other soft floor covering. Begin by allowing your partner to hold you in a body lock with an outside step. This means your opponent is behind and to the side of you with his left arm wrapped around your right arm as he pushes his weight against you. His body is to the side, and his legs are back and out. Push your right leg back and to the side, forcing your opponent’s legs open. This will be too much of a stretch, and your opponent will begin to sink to the ground because his legs are too far apart for him to retain balance. Performs this step and step 3 simultaneously. Arch your body as you turn your torso in toward your opponent. Be sure to retain your arm positions, and keep your knees bent and legs balanced. Be sure
