How Do You Passa Pe Armada In Brazilian Capoeira Martial Arts?
“GRADUADO ADVOGADO: My name is Advogado on behalf of Expert Village. Today, we’re going to talk about a basic two-kick sequence in capoeira. It’s really good for stretching as well, so this is a good way to start out some of your training. We start with the left leg back. The sequence is called pass pe armada. We will be kicking opposite legs today. So what you’re going to do is you’re going to go ahead and start with your left leg back, left arm up, step to the base, the base position. Your right foot is going to come off the floor just like passa pe, which is in another clip. You’re going to strike with your instep of your right foot. The leg is straight. It goes all the way across the front of your body and then it lands at a 45-degree angle past your body. Okay? Once you’ve done that you’re going to go ahead and twist.
