How Do You Pass The Medical Surgical Nurse Credentialing Certification Test?
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) offers certification in several specialized nursing areas, including medical surgical nursing. Those that qualify for the computer-based examination must complete an application any time during the year and must schedule the exam within 90 days after acceptance. There are several review resources available on the ANCC website that provide all of the necessary information to pass the medical surgical nursing certification test. Become a candidate to take the certification test. You must provide proof of your current RN state licensure and work verification as a full-time registered nurse for the last two years. The completion of 30 continuing education hours in three years and at least 2000 hours practicing in the medical surgical nursing area are also required along with proof documentation.
