Color blindness, also called color vision deficiency, refers to a lack of sensitivity to particular colors. People who are color blind can see colors, but they cannot differentiate between certain colors. Most people who are considered color blind cannot see the difference between green and red. The Ishihara Plates, developed by a Japanese ophthalmologist, is the most common color blindness test used today. Take an online color blindness test to find a preliminary diagnosis for color blindness.
