Any time you type in a search term your Web browser saves the term so it can quickly be retrieved at a later time. You may not always want any user to be able to view your recent search terms for privacy reasons, so you may need to delete entries from the search history. The Google toolbar saves its search history in a separate location than your searches on the actual Google Web search, which is saved by your specific Web browser. Locate the Google toolbar beneath your Web browser’s URL field. Click the arrow icon at the right end of the Google toolbar’s search box. Click the link labeled “Clear History,” which is located at the bottom of the list of recent search terms. If the “Clear History” button doesn’t appear you will need to type any letter to bring up the list of recent search terms.
