How Do You Paint Window Frames Without The Mess?
Ever try to paint your window frames, have them taped, and still get paint on your window? Try this trick the next time you paint. Use your painting tape to tape out your window in preparation for painting. Once window is taped, take a bar of regular soap (Ivory is a good one) and rub all around the outside of the tape on the actual glass. Start painting, if paint gets on the glass it is now easily removed. The soap won’t allow the paint to stick to the glass. Wipe away any paint that did make it to the glass with an old rag and some window cleaner.
