How Do You Paint Stripes On Fingernails?
• Test, on paper, three colors you think will go well together. Try various shades of pinks, for starters. It looks best with a light, a medium and a dark.shade • Prep a white by trimming a little bit off of both sides of the brush with scissors, making it thinner. • Paint the lightest color across the whole nail, one thin coat. Let that dry. • Depending on the size of the nail, add vertical stripes of the other shades on either side of the nail, leaving stripes of the lightest color. The large toenail should be able to have one stripe of each on either side of the light color. Let that dry. • Apply second coat of lightest color only where those stripes belong. Let that dry. • Take thinned white brush and accent with white stripes on several nails. Let that dry. Apply topcoat.
