How Do You Paint Fantasy Characters With Watercolor Paints?
Many people neglect using the wonderful medium of watercolors because they don’t know how to use them. This technique is simple and gives great results. First set up your working place, make sure you are working on a completely flat surface so your paint doesn’t drip. Have your paint and other materials within arms reach. This is where your imagination comes in! Once you have an idea in your head use your pencil to lightly sketch out your fairy or mermaid. Don’t press down hard on your pencil because these lines are not permanent, rework the lines until you get them exactly the way you want them. After you are satisfied with your drawing take your scrapbooking pen and trace your pencil lines. Then erase all of your pencil lines.
