“Hi, I’m Sue Rose with Expert Village and today we’re talking about transparencies in watercolor. I’ve added two transparent colors to my background, now I’m beginning to add some to my fish. I am going now to begin to add some details to my fish. So I’m going to take my green and I’m going to go over the tail and some of the details on the face. This time I’m going to add my green and I’m going to make it a little bit thicker because I want most of the tail part of the fish to be the green but some of the cadmium red is going to show through. I want a jewel look to this fish so I’m going to continue be sure to try not to over work your paper. But you can see where the green, some of the rose madder and the blue is going through and then I’m going to put a little bit of this green here on this fin of the fish. But I’m going to soften it up here because I don’t want all hard lines so I’m going to soften this and blur this line a little bit here. So it kind of goes like this on my fish a
