How Do You Paint A Window Frame Without Ruining The Glass?

Hey, all you home improvement buffs! Have you ever had to paint a window and ended up with drips and splotches all over the glass afterward? If you’re like me, you hate trying to get that masking tape perfectly in those corners, too! Here’s an easy tip to make the job simpler and keep your window glass looking great! First clean your window glass to prepare the surface, and make sure it’s completely dry. Paint a thin coating of your soap on the glass, making a border, right up against the edge to be painted. Let this dry thoroughly. Next, paint your window frame. Don’t worry if you get a little paint on the glass…the soap will protect it! When your paint is thoroughly dry, take your putty knife and scrape off the soap, and any paint you’ve slopped around. It will come off very easily! Wait a day or so for the paint to cure, then you can clean your window with glass cleaner, without worrying about damaging your new paint job!
