The paint on a pool slide will deteriorate over time, mostly because of exposure to UV rays. If your pool slide has lost its luster and no longer looks the way you want it to, it is time for a paint job. For best results, paint on a day with low humidity when rain is not expected and the air temperature is between 50F and 90F. If you want to get creative, you can also paint accents or designs to make your pool slide one of a kind. Prepare the surface to be painted. Power wash the slide, then scrub with a solution of trisodium sulfate. Rinse slide to remove traces of the TSP. Then scrub the slide with a solution of muriatic or sulfamic acid. Rinse the slide again, and allow the slide to dry completely. Mix your paint. Epoxy paints require mixing together two parts. Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Use the roller to apply the paint. Apply the second coat after 16 to 72 hours. Add designs or detailing after the second coat of paint has cured for an additional 16 to 72 hours. Allow the
