How Do You Paint A Glow-In-The-Dark Galaxy Mural?
Painting a glow-in-the-dark galaxy mural is a great way to decorate a child’s room. Not only does the glow of the phosphorescent paint make an ultra-cool nightlight, researching the stars in the galaxies can be a fun science project for both you and your child. You can turn a plain wall into a gateway to the vastness of space, and all you need is some glow-in-the-dark paint, a pencil and some extra time. Find which galaxy you want to paint. It’s easy to find photographs of galaxies from Internet sources (see Resources). Some galaxies also have more detailed map resources online. You can also use an astronomy book. Print or Xerox a color copy of the photo of the galaxy you’d like to paint. This will serve as a reference. Print or Xerox a black-and-white copy of the photo of the galaxy you’d like to paint.
