Open the beer the night before and leave it out to reach room temperature and release most of its carbonation. Pour the stale beer into a mixing bowl and add approximately a third of the Epsom salt. Stir the mixture together with a spoon and slowly sprinkle the remaining Epsom salt until no more will mix in. Add a few drops of food coloring at this point if you do not want your salt frost to appear clear.
