How Do You Paint A Checkerboard On A Concrete Floor?
Painting a checkerboard on a concrete floor can be a great way to transform a garage, basement or unused workspace into a fun and festive place. Perhaps you can create a game of human checkers for you and your employees, friends, family or students. Creating a checkerboard on concrete does require thorough cleaning of the area and epoxy paint for the floor. Epoxy garage floor paint will adhere to the concrete and withstand all the jumping and goofing off that is sure to happen when you turn an entire floor into a game board. Bleach the concrete and scrub the floor vigorously. Spray the area clean with a hose. Let the floor dry. Lay the yardstick out and measure out the checkerboard over the floor, eight squares wide and eight squares long. Mark out each of these squares with chalk.
