How Do You Paint A Ceramic Statue?
Painting ceramic statues is popular hobby for young children and adults. There are many establishments that offer plain ceramics so their patrons can paint them as they wish. It can be a calming hobby that lets you exhibit your artistic ability. Wipe down your ceramic statue with a wet cloth to remove any dirt or dust that might be on it. Dry your statue with another cloth. Dip your paint brush into any color paint you choose. If you use multiple color paints, use a clean brush for each one. Paint the lighter colors on your statue first. A lighter color painted on top of a darker color will not show up after the statue is fired in the kiln. Let your statue dry when you finish painting it. Use another brush to paint over your statue with a glaze finish. It will give your ceramic statue a glossy finish. Wait for the glaze to dry before having it fired in a kiln.
