Planning a trip to Punta Cana and are not sure what to pack? Unlike most caribbean hot spots, Punta Cana is still very rustic and you need to pack some additional things from home so you won’t get caught having to pay $12 for a bottle of aspirin or $7 for a tube of Pringles! Here are some expert tips from a frequent traveler to the Domincan Republic! Keep your packing list simple! Punta Cana is very casual and you’ll spend most of your time in your bathing suit, so don’t go overboard on clothing! If you are staying at an all-inclusive resort (and most are)men are usually required to wear long pants and collared shirt at dinner. Don’t panic, this means polo shirt with Dockers! Women can get away with pretty much anything as long as it is in good taste and not just a bathing suit.
