Overclocking your nVidia video card does not come without risk, however. The biggest risk is that you void the manufacturer’s warranty on the card. Two other problems that come with overclocking the nVidia graphics card are that the card will run hotter and potentially overheat your computer and you could create undesired errors with the computer’s operating system.
