How Do You Overclock Nvidia Video Cards?
Overclocking a video card is a method that can be used to make the card perform at a higher level than what was preset at the factory. With games and multi-media requiring an ever-increasing level of performance from your computer, overclocking your graphics card may gain enough of a performance increase to delay purchase of a new card. Overclocking your nVidia video card does not come without risk, however. The biggest risk is that you void the manufacturer’s warranty on the card. Two other problems that come with overclocking the nVidia graphics card are that the card will run hotter and potentially overheat your computer and you could create undesired errors with the computer’s operating system.
