How Do You Organize Blocks, Legos, Tinker Toys, Thomas Trains, Lincoln Logs And More?
Trying to keep a house with toddlers neat and tidy can be hard to do with all the toys littered on the floor, but here’s my simple solution that’s way too easy! First and foremost, you’ll need a “cube” organizer with either 6 or 9 cubes. Hop on out to your local Target, Walmart, Home Depot or Lowes. Each one of these stores will carry the organizer but Target usually has the better prices, especially when you snag it on sale. Assemble the shelf using the instructions included in your box. It’s also a good idea to fasten it to the wall if you have the tools to do so. This will prevent accidents. Also pick up the desired number of pull-out drawers. These drawers are soft and easy for toddlers to use. They run about $6 each. Dump Legos in one drawers, Tinker Toys in another drawer, Thomas trains and cars in another drawer, and miscellaneous toys in another. Organizing your toys like this will free up some space in the house and teach your toddler about cleaning up after he’s done playing!
